I began wandering down this path in the early 1980's with my older brother Emory Stagmer and another partner as the tag along little brother. What was first the decision to take the path of least resistance has become a life's work of research and learning. It is my hope and intention to pass along the skills and knowledge that others have given to me.

I have had the great fortune to work with several of the great craftsmen of our day. Jewelers, blacksmith and bladesmiths and metalsmiths from all over the world have contributed knowledge and shared their skills.

Now working with my younger brother Matt Stagmer and a host of other skilled artisans we produce many objects and trade our skills, knowledge and inspiration.
